Our driver will meet you at your accommodation (or preferred pick up point) at 9.00am to start the transfer to Imlil Valley. On your way you will pass through the town of Tahnaout where you can stop at an Argan Oil Co-operative and learn how the woman of the co-operative turn the Argan nut into many of the different Argan Oil based products Morocco is famous for. You will then continue on through Asni where on a Saturday a traditional Berber Souk and market can be visited.

Once you arrive in Imlil (the village named after the valley it is in – Imlil Valley) you will stop for a welcome glass of mint tea and meet your guide before commencing your trek. Your guide will help you decide on the length of trek you want to do (between 1 and 3 hours) and then you will make your way either on foot or riding on a Mule up to Armed the highest and the biggest village in Imlil Valley.

Your journey will take you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa and Imoula, you will stop off in Tamatert and have the opportunity to take in the views of ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Your guide will point out things of interest and talk to you about the Berber culture and heritage along the way.

You will have the opportunity to have mint tea with a Berber family as you come down through the village of Ait Souka and you will then enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in a family Berber guest house.
